PWR is a complete rip-off!!!,
This outfit, PWR, said on their listing that it was warranteed for 1 year. Mine failed at 97 days, and PWR told me “Well, we only warrantee our stuff for 90 days”. They told me Dell would cover it, so they sent me off to Dell. After 3 transfers from India to Manila and 40 minutes on the phone, Dell said, “Well, yes, it’s a Dell battery, but based on the serial number you gave us (right off the battery PWR sold me) it was made in December of 2004″.
December of 2004!!! Yeah, I guess it was outta warrantee! Like, 5 years BEFORE I BOUGHT IT!!! Dell said they may be peddling remanufactured junk or it was just old, but either way, that’s likely criminal to say what they said in their listing vs. the actual facts. Amazon was AWESOME in their response, but what a collossal headache. If you want pain, deal with PWR. If not…
I obviously would have given ZERO stars, but it wouldn’t let me.
