What is the least expensive desktop computer that comes with nVidia GeForce 8800?

I don’t care about any other characteristics. I assume that in a computer that comes with nVidia GeForce 8800 other characteristics will also be fairly advanced.

With improving technology are laptops/notebooks equal to the computer home desktops now?

I was thinking about purchasing a laptop/notebook and I want to know if they can do everything that a desktop computer is able to do? In the past I’ve heard that home computers are better than laptops/notebooks. So to all the computer experts please let me know the pros and cons. I’m thinking about actually going Apple for the laptop. Thanks!!

I want to be able to access my desktop without having to connect the monitor . Is it possible to link my laptop to only the CPU so that I may access the hard drives on my desktop pc? Do I need special software or cables?

Is a mac required for Texas A&M University?

I am planning on going to TAMU for college. I’ve heard people say that an apple computer is required, but I’m not sure if it’s true. I figure it is because I know people who go there and they own macs, and I’ve seen macs sitting on the teachers’ desks at the university. So I just wanted to confirm that a mac actually is required before I go buy one and also, does it have to be a macbook laptop or can it be an iMac desktop?

I have a Apple Monitor with DVI-D connection. I need to find out if I am able to connect this Mac Monitor to a KVM Switch then connect a Windows laptop and a Windows pc to the KVM Switch. I can flip between a laptop and a desktop computer?

To Apple or Not to Apple that is the Question?

1. I see the componets in the Apple computers… (for example)
3.06 processor ( i have yet to see this speed on a pc)
4gb memory ( i know you can get more on a PC)
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics (just starting to come put on PC)

2. I see MANY people now buying Apple
3. I have alot of people i know that use the Apple and they last pretty long (with windows my pc may last a year! and i have to buy a new one)
4. The operating system seems to be more stable then Windows .. Except for you have to learn how to use it ..
5. Its kinda pretty The style of even the desktop is pretty…
Also the desktops even have wireless (which i cant find in pc unless i do a build your self)

This is what i understand and see, But i want to know if Apple computers are really WORTH the investment and the COST!! exspecailly the COST …

Just for the record… I dont want to build my own pc.. That I just cant do… I have looked around at dell and hp ex trying to find a higher speed then 2.8 prossesors already installed! and NOTHING…

Personally i have learned SO much about how to take care of my pc and still about every 6 months i have to reboot the system so it dont lag or frezze up and NO iam not going to web sites i shouldnt ex. I think that is the way the OS is.. Maybe I get caught up in the Hype. but i havent seem much and refruting the HYPE of Apple.. except on here.. Hence why i asked the question..
NO who would want to spend more money IF THEY dont have to..I just want a Computer that works.. and that is fast.. that i dont have to upgrade in 7 months after paying alot of money for it..

how do i hook radio speakers to my desktop computer?

i bought a new radio that comes with it’s own set of speakers. i want to know how to hook up my old RCA speakers to my desktop. the don’t have an adapter but just the wire used to connect to the radio. is there anyway to hook them up?
