The TurboCache feature is integral the Quadro NVS 285 GPU Utilizing the high-speed bidirectional PCI Express bus it allows the card use the system memory as if it were local to the card. TurboCache doubles the memory bandwidth. The displayable desktop is always stored in local memory to minimize the impact on system memory performance. For optimal usage of the Quadro NVS 285, NVIDIA recommends a minimum system memory configuration of 256MB.
